Years are being added one at a time, starting with the Victoria Large Cents. Greyed-out years are in preparation.

How to use this guide

  1. Find your coin's year. Each year page lists every variety Barry has catalogued, with the key detail for each.
  2. Compare the key detail. Most varieties are told apart by the date or a few letters. A 5× to 10× loupe is usually enough.
  3. Confirm with the reference photographs. Each variety has more coins photographed in full to check your match against.
