Wide "94", Misaligned "44"
1944 Newfoundland 10 Cents · George VI
The second of these varieties is also fairly easy to locate but it is a little more difficult to identify because of its similarity to the following High "44" variance. In this case, it will be necessary to pay more attention to its minor characteristics which will help to differentiate these two varieties. Like the previous example, the Gap between the "9" and "4" is slightly Wider than that of the following, High "44" variation. Also, the two "4's" have been misaligned, with the Second of this pair, being a shade Lower than its twin.
