Coin #2 in Barry's study

The first of these two varieties is a Narrow Date issue which can be recognized by observing the positioning of the "7". In this case, it has been punched slightly Higher in the date than that of its companion. Also, the "0" has been punched closer to the "7", leaving a wider gap between this numeral and the ornamental beads. In addition, this variety displays definite signs of Repunching to the "1" and "8" which does not appear to be a major characteristic of its relative.
