Narrow Date, Medium, Re-punched "41", Centre "C"
1941 Newfoundland One Cent · George VI
Like the previous example, this variety also illustrates some signs of having had alterations made to its Reverse side Numbers and Lettering, however, they are not quite as considerable as those of the aforementioned variety. In this case, the modifications have been made to the numbers "4" and "1" of the date and the Letters "A" and "N" (in NEWFOUNDLAND). Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this variety can be found with the "4", which demonstrates a distinctive difference in its appearance, which sets it apart from these other examples. The alterations to this numeral are clearly noticeable but they are not quite as extensive as with the previously specified variety. Finally, it should be mentioned that the Mint Mark "C" has been punched in a Central position between the "T" and the "Dot".
